Daniele Trani

Director of photography, director and editor. He is a camera operator and director of photography of several short films, many of which won important awards. We can mention a few: “Interno 9” (winner of the “Fano Film Festival” and the “Golden Globe” in 2004, finalist at the “David di Donatello”), “La Currybonara”, “Tra le Dita” (winner of the “Golden Globe” in 2016, winner as best photography at the “Inventa un Film 2016” festival), “Gemma di Maggio” (nomination as best cinematography at the “Action on Film Festival in Los Angeles”, winner as best cinematography at the “Napoli Cultural Classic” and “Roma Cinema DOC”), “Happy Birthday” (special event at the “Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia 2019”) and “Intolerance”. In 2007 he debuts with “Il sole di Nina”, followed by, to name the most important, the horror film “Oltre il Guado – Across the River” (2013), which also won several awards in Italy and abroad (among many, the Critics’ Award at the “Fantasia International Film Festival 2014”), “Daitona” (2017), “Fuck you Immortality” (2019), “Solo No” (2019) and “Nightmare Symphony” (2020), of which he is also co-director. He also supervised the photography and editing of the trilogy based on the works of Giorgio Pressburger, “L’Orologio di Monaco” (presented at the “Festa del Cinema di Roma”), “Il Profumo del Tempo delle Favole” and “La Legge degli Spazi Bianchi”, (both presented at the “Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia”) produced and distributed by the Luce-Cinecittà Istitute.
