Watch now URBAN 2020 Photo Awards special event with Nick Turpin

It’s eleven days before the end of URBAN 2020 Photo Awards and today we have a special episode of TPD Digital Talks with Nick Turpin, great English street photographer and member of the URBAN Jury.

See you tonight at 9 pm CET, live on the Facebook page of Trieste Photo Days, the International Festival which will host the contest’s Awards Ceremony in October.

Nick will tell us about his personal vision of contemporary street photography, also commenting on a selection of his works. There will also be space for URBAN Photo Awards and in particular for the Book Award section, supervised by Nick, who will choose the winning project.

Submissions for the eleventh edition of URBAN Photo Awards are open until Sunday 14 June 2020.

You can submit Single Photos (4 thematic areas: Streets, People, Spaces, Creative), Projects & Portfolio (sequences of images that share a common element, projects, photo reports, series, “stories” narrated through the photographs, etc.), and Books (projects extended beyond 12 photos, in pdf or image sequences).

Works will be selected by a prestigious international jury chaired by a living legend of photography: Alex Webb, who will personally choose the winner. Among the jury members: Manfred Baumann, Gulnara Samoilova, Arnaud Montagard, Tadashi Onishi, Ania Klosek and many others.

A prize pool worth over € 16,000 is up for grabs, together with exhibitions and publication. More info on the contest’s website www.urbanphotoawards.com
