Zbigniew Podsiadło
[Poland]
Born in 1955, lives and works in Sosnowiec, Poland. A member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF), currently he is the chairman of the Mountain Area of ZPAF. The board member of the Foundation “The Center of Photography” (Fundacja “Centrum fotografii”). The program board member of the Art Center Sielecki Castle (Centrum Sztuki Zamek Sielecki). The winner of the Sosnowiec city Artistic Award in 2010.
Podsiadło has participated in more than two hundred international and national exhibitions, he is also a multiple winner of the Polish major awards in the field of photography, including: the Medal of the 150th Anniversary of Photography, the Golden Award of Polish Federation of Photographic Societies, as well as awards of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, “Merit for Polish Culture”. He received medals and awards during exhibitions in Zagreb, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Budapest, Moscow, Madrid, Beijing, San Francisco and Berlin. Zbigniew Podsiadło has participated in and organized many open-air photo workshops as well as art symposia. He is the artistic mentor of the Association of Photography Fans in Sosnowiec.
